WORKSHOP: Fungus Foray & Identification Workshop

Date and Time
Fri, 22nd Oct, 2021 at 10:15 - 15:00

Come and join specialists in the field on an interesting and educational day as we search the grounds at Hellens for interesting specimens and enjoy finding out more about these remarkable organisms.

The day will be split into 2 with a foray in the morning, identifying what we find, then lunch and an afternoon presentation.

The HFSG Group is affiliated to the British Mycological Society. Their main purpose is identifying and recording the fungal species in Herefordshire for both the national and county databases. Jo Weightman, Shelly & Mike Stroud are all members of the Herefordshire Fungus Survey Group and will be hosting the workshop at Hellens.

The day will be a fantastic opportunity to work with specialists in this field whilst enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Hellens. You are very welcome to stay on a while and enjoy exploring the grounds after the workshop.
