Madness, Melancholy and Magic
Join harpsichordist Julian Perkins and violinist Peter Sheppard Skærved for an engaging performance featuring works by Corelli and Handel, concluding with Tartini’s infamous Devil’s Trill sonata in the atmospheric Great Barn, Hellens Manor.
Peter Sheppard Skærved is a Grammy-nominated recording artist, with over one hundred critically acclaimed albums to his name and is internationally renowned for performances of a vast range of solo repertoire. His ‘Knowledge Exchange Violin’ project brings together museums and institutions across the globe to collaborate on films, events, performances, recordings and exhibitions to explore the interrelationship between music, art and the environment.
