Gould Piano Trio

Lucy Gould (violin), Richard Lester (cello), Benjamin Frith (piano) with Robert Plane (clarinet)

In this intriguing programme, the internationally renowned Gould Piano Trio is joined in the first half by the illustrious clarinettist Robert Plane. The opening work, featuring clarinet, cello and piano, is a well-known early composition by Beethoven and the first half ends with an impassioned work from the end of the 19^th century performed by all four musicians. In the second half of the concert, the Trio will perform the perennially loved ‘Dumky’ Trio of Dvorak.
