Tom Genders is making a welcome return to Hellens with Beating the Bounds an exhibition and programme of art events including workshops, talks, walks in the grounds and more. Tom is a painter, art teacher and naturalist. He is a member of the Arborealists and has exhibited widely including at the Royal Academy in London.
Last chance to see Tom Genders exhibition in the Great Barn @ Hellens.

Past Events
Julian Hight is a British author, designer, photographer, and ancient tree specialist. He is known for his work documenting and celebrating Britain’s ancient trees, particularly through his three beautifully illustrated books, and his involvement with the Woodland Trust. Hight’s deep connection with all things arboreal means he gives a fascinating and lively talk on the subject of ancient trees including some local specimens such as the Much Marcle Yew and those at Moccas Park.
Tuesday 5th August – En plein air class – 2.15pm to 6pm followed by viewing – £60 per person – all abilities welcome – materials included – bring overalls/old shirt
Wednesday 6th August – Public viewing and open invite to artists to draw and paint in the grounds 10.30am to 4.30pm – free – donations welcome
Thursday 7th August – Guided estate walk and viewing – 5.30pm to 7.00pm – £10 per person – please note the estate walk is not wheelchair friendly
Sunday 10th August – Public viewing – 10.30am to 4.30pm – free – donations welcome
